Sawi Tree

A squat, wide-branched tree reministent of a yew, except for its shockingly black and powdery bark, hence its common name "ashtree". This bark falls off gradually, powdering the ground around it like a shadow unless cleaned. Once native to Vasloria, these trees were largely extirpated due to overexploitation by inkmakers.
